My computer is officially broken, for the moment. I am posting from my brother's PoS desktop atm...apparently my computer can't find the "SYSTEM" folder in the "SYSTEM32" section of my computer =(. I had no viruses when it stopped working yesterday, so I can rule that out...and it's easily fixable, but there's an important caveat. All my shit would get deleted if I went ahead and restored it back to the state it was in when I bought it. Of importance to me: My Adobe CS2 executable, given to me by a friend, that lets me edit my pics and make some weird-ass art. I'd also lose nearly all of my PSD files, as well as my enormous picture collection I've built up over the last six months or so from finally getting into 4chan and other chans.

In more detail, the computer (running Windows XP btw) starts up normally until it gets to the XP loading screen, which it never actually gets to. A long pause replaces the screen, followed by the message that the SYSTEM folder is either missing or corrupted. It asks me to insert a Windows CD to start a recovery process, but my computer never came with OS CDs, since it was store bought and never upgraded.

I'm not sure whether to wait for the computer guy to come in 4-5 days to get those files off of my computer for me, or just eat my losses and start completely over.

I'd lose the two pictures I was going to submit to the art forum today too =(. One was this random thing I did when I was bored a few weeks ago, and another, almost done, was this cool-ass Chinese propaganda poster.

What do you think Newgrounds?

Edit: Fuck it, I restored it and I'm happy. I'll find the time for new art eventually.

EDITED EDIT: Apparently my computer saved ALL of my pictures in another, hard-to-find folder?? I'm not complaining :D

Was going to submit an edited picture of the Mona Lisa, but wasn't sure if it was allowed or not. I messed with the background and added a distant city waterfront, and changed her face to make it look like "The Joker" from the newest Batman movie. The edit over the original Mona Lisa is my work, but the source picture obviously isn't haha, so I'm not really sure.

Can anyone help me out? I've looked on the FAQ and Rob's post, but no real answers are there.

I have assorted songs from Killswitch Engage, Disturbed, Slipknot, Seether, but people seem to scream "SELLOUTS" when they're mentioned.

I'm almost positive they're referring to the fact that their concert tickets get sold out =)

Not to bust the mod's balls, because they're doing their jobs, yada yada yada. BBS was supposed to kill time during my long, boring "vacation" to North Carolina, and now I have nothing =(. I might not post for awhile now...like anyone cares. I just like keeping my hands clean on forums when I do decide to post, and I hate bans ><. Only temp banned twice ever, but for 500 some posts, it doesn't look that good at all.
